Lightly buffing the natural nail with a nail file removes the shine, dirt and any oils. It provides a rough base for the glue and false nails to ahdere to better, helping them stay on for longer.

What's the purpose of an alcohol cleanser wipe?

An alcohol cleanser wipe, contains 75% Isopropyl Alcohol. It disinfects and dehydrates your nails in preperation for any adhesive to be applied.

What can i use instead of an alcohol cleanser wipe?

Nail polish remover, or rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad can be used instead. They have a similar effect to the alcohol prep pad by removing any existing polish and will cleanse the nail ready for you to apply false nails.
